FAQ
Questions couples actually ask
Booking, coverage, delivery and the awkward ones about money. All answered plainly.
Booking
Getting started
For peak wedding season (November to February), six to nine months is sensible — popular dates go early, and because we take only one wedding per team per day, we run out of capacity faster than studios that double-book. Off-season, two to three months is usually comfortable. If your date is close, message us anyway; a team is sometimes still free.
You come to the studio, we make you a coffee, and we talk. We'll screen full wedding films in the Experience Room — not just highlight reels — so you can judge our actual work. We'll ask about your functions, your family and the moments that matter to you. There's no fee, no obligation and nothing to sign.
After the consultation you'll receive a written proposal listing deliverables, team size, timelines and price. A booking advance confirms the date and blocks your team. From that moment we accept no other wedding for that day.
We start from a few standard structures and then shape them to your functions. A two-day wedding with three hundred guests needs something different from a single-evening reception, and pretending otherwise just means you pay for coverage you don't use. Pricing depends on the number of functions, locations, team size and deliverables — we'll give you a written figure, not a moving one.
On The Day
Coverage & crew
It means the crew assigned to you photographs nobody else that day. They don't leave early for a second booking, they don't arrive tired from a morning shoot, and they aren't a last-minute freelancer you've never met. Many studios take three weddings a date and split their staff. We don't.
Yes. Teams are stationed regionally across Bihar — Gaya, Patna, Muzaffarpur–Darbhanga and Purnia–Katihar — with reserve crews on standby. Destination weddings outside Bihar are welcome; travel, stay and equipment transport are quoted separately and stated in your proposal.
Every team carries backup bodies, lenses and lighting, and we keep reserve crews specifically for this. Footage is backed up to multiple drives on location by a dedicated data manager before anyone leaves the venue.
Yes — this is common when the bride's and groom's families are in different districts. Because our teams are regional, we can often cover both without charging you for a crew travelling the length of the state. Mention it at the consultation so we plan it properly.
Yes, as part of our cinematic film coverage, subject to venue permission and local regulations. Some venues and areas restrict drone flying — we'll check in advance rather than surprise you on the day.
Afterwards
Delivery & albums
Selected edited stills and a highlight reel on the same night, thanks to our on-location editing bay. The complete photo set lands in the Vivah App within 24 hours. Albums and the full cinematic film follow within the timeline stated in your proposal.
Every guest opens your event link and takes a selfie. Face recognition then shows them only the photos they appear in — no scrolling through four thousand images to find themselves. They can download in full resolution and share straight to social media. Your gallery stays private to your event.
Vivah Circle members keep lifetime cloud access to their media — that's the whole point of the programme. We also recommend you download and keep your own copy; no studio should be your only backup.
Yes. We put together a first selection based on the story, then you review it and swap anything you want. Album design goes to print only after you've approved it.
Only with your consent. We ask separately for permission to use selected images in our portfolio or on social media, and you can decline without it affecting anything else. You can also withdraw that permission later — see our Privacy Policy.
Practical
Payments & changes
A booking advance confirms your date, with the balance split across agreed milestones and a final payment before delivery. Exact amounts and dates are written into your proposal — see our Terms & Conditions.
Tell us as soon as you know. If a team is free on the new date we'll transfer your booking; if not, we'll do everything we reasonably can to arrange cover. Full details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Yes, within our covered districts. The full setup — lighting, backdrops and the wide-format printer — travels with the team. For locations further out, travel is quoted separately.
You can. Most couples take both because a single team coordinating stills and video produces a more coherent result, but we're happy to quote either on its own.
